Gifts for the children of Ukrainian refugees in Spain

Way of Hearts Foundation continues its collaboration with the Consulate General of Ukraine in Barcelona to support the families of Ukrainian refugees who have been granted asylum in Spain.

How the foundation helped

Together with the Dzherelo Foundation, the Spanish brach of Nova Post, and the Spanish companies Il·lusions Solidaires and Merkle Incorporated, the foundation’s team helped organisea charity evening for children to mark St Nicholas’ Day. Sweet treats were purchased for the children who attended the festive event using funds from the foundation’s members and partners.

Why is this important?

“While a full-scale war rages on, millions of Ukrainians are scattered across the globe. Support for these families from caring Ukrainians is a crucial taskin ensuring these people’s future return to their homeland. Above all, it is a demonstration of our people’s humanity and unity – wherever we may be,” commented the Foundation’s team.

The project was implemented with the active support of Barcelona City Council (Ayuntamiento).
