Purchase of equipment for Children’s Hospital No. 7 in Kyiv

In June 2024, thanks to donations from our members and partners, Way of Hearts Foundation began a new chapter of cooperation with Kyiv City Children’s Hospital No. 7. In addition to thepreviously refurbished physical and psychological rehabilitation room, the foundation was able to purchase the necessary equipment for the maxillofacial surgery department.

Why this matters

It is the only emergency department for children with maxillofacial injuries. Every day, between 25 and 50 children with acute maxillofacial conditions are treated there, including those withsevere injuries, purulent-septic conditions and bleeding.

The trauma centre performs over 3,500 operations a year, making its work critically important for the city.

How the foundation helped

At the hospital’s request, Way of Hearts Foundation purchased an MDS TEMPESTA 4C dental compressor with a dryer. The new equipment will enable more effective operations to treat children’sinjuries.

The foundation’s team is grateful to the medical staff for their daily work and productive communication during the project’s implementation.
