Purchase of new flooring for the Ivan Piddubny Olympic College
Way of Hearts Foundation continues to provide ongoing support to the Ivan Piddubny Olympic College – one of the oldest and most renowned educational institutions in Ukraine.
How the foundation helped
Using funds from members and partners, the foundation’s team purchased new specialist flooring for the college’s large sports hall. This is one of the most essential elements forensuring comfortable and safe training conditions for the college’s students. It requires regular replacement and maintenance due to wear and tear.
Earlier Way of Hearts Foundation previously purchased sets of sports uniforms for the college’s students.
Why this matters
Over more than 50 years of its history, the college has become a true cradle of champions. Among them there are:
- 23 Olympic champions
- 92 world and European champions
- 45 Honoured Masters of Sport
- Over 2,000 Masters of Sport
It is here that the future of Ukrainian professional sport is being nurtured – a future that requires special support in times of war.
