Support for the ‘Pereloma Academy’ MMA School
In 2023, Way of Hearts Foundation began a partnership & support program for Pereloma Fight Academy – a sports school for children specialising in mixed martial arts. Its founder,Yaroslav Pereloma, a European combat sambo championship medallist, spent 11 years pursuing his dream of opening a place for talented children who could be united through sport.

The school’s achievements
Pereloma Fight Academy now counts Ukrainian, European and world champions among its pupils. For example, Dania Gavryshchuk, this year’s European runner-up, also won a silver medal lastyear at the World MMA Championships for children, youth and juniors in Abu Dhabi.
Also, in early April there was an European MMA Championship in the Serbian capital, Belgrade. Three silver medals for the Ukrainian team were won by young students of the Pereloma Fight Academy:13-year-old Ira Martsynuk, 13-year-old Dania Gavryshchuk, and 17-year-old Yegor Vanin.
How the foundation helped
Way of Hearts Foundation played a crucial part in launching a school in the town of Khotiv, in a Kyiv suburb. For example:
- Comprehensive refurbishment of the sports hall and associated rooms
- Purchase of all necessary sports equipment for training
